FIS Weltcup Nordische Kombination

Having hosted the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999, the cross-country ski region Ramsau am Dachstein in Styria has become a fixture in the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup calendar. Every year mid-December, the world’s best athletes of this ultimate discipline of Nordic sports, such as Gruber, Klapfer, Seidl, Orther, Frenzel, Riessle, Moan, or Krog, come to the Ramsau am Dachstein jump and cross-country tracks.
Ever since November 2013, the young Ramsau athlete Franz Josef Rehrl has been part of the Austrian World Cup team. He already celebrated great successes at the World Junior Championships 2013 in Liberec: he took the silver medal at the team competition and finished, as best athlete of the Austrian team, fifth and sixth in the single competitions.
